Hi! I´m Valentin

I help game studios design and build games that actually get finished.

Freelance Game Designer & Developer

I’m a game designer who can also build what I design.

With hands-on experience in Unity3D development, I bridge the gap between concept and working product. I think in systems, mechanics, and player experience. But I’m just as comfortable opening up a script and making things actually work.

Over the years I’ve shipped games on Android and taken on projects for major brands like BMW, Porsche, and AIDA. Designing and developing complete game experiences from scratch. That means I know what it takes to get a game from idea to finished product.

I work as a freelancer, which means I integrate cleanly into existing teams and workflows. No ego, no overhead. I´m very easy to work with.

What I Bring to Your Team

Game Design Systems design, mechanics, level design, player progression, UX flows — I cover the full range of game design work and adapt to whatever your project needs most.

Unity3D Development I prototype and build in Unity3D, so I can back up design decisions with working implementations. Useful when you need a designer who doesn’t just write docs, but can build and test ideas directly.

Shipping & Production Experience I’ve shipped games on Android and worked within production pipelines from early concept to final release. I understand deadlines, scope, and the reality of getting a game out the door.

End-to-End Project Experience I’ve designed and developed complete games independently — which means I understand every stage of production and communicate effectively across disciplines.

BMW

Strategy Communication Game:

BMW needed to roll out a new internal strategy but adoption among employees was slow and the message wasn't landing.
In collaboration with the agency fifty1, I developed a game concept from scratch designed to communicate the strategy in a way that actually stuck. The result was a custom-built game that helped employees understand and internalize the importance of the new direction far more effectively than traditional communication methods.

MysteryRooms

Inveractive Game App

For MysteryRooms, I contributed to the design and developed a versatile game app built for their client work. The platform enables the creation of interactive experiences using AR, mini-games, 360° views, and more. The app is flexible enough to serve a wide range of genres and use cases, while staying intuitive and easy to use for every client it's built for.

Countdown

Multiplayer Map Game

For Countdown Landsberg, I designed and developed a multiplayer quiz game from the ground up. Players compete to pinpoint significant world locations on a map. The closest guess wins the round. The game runs on a touchscreen and handles multiple players simultaneously, with all design and programming done entirely by me.
